Every year, Australian Tallow Producers recycles millions of kilograms of perishable material generated by the livestock and poultry, meat/poultry processing. Converting this material into valuable ingredients for edible fats, various soaps, cosmetics, explosives, toothpaste, pharmaceuticals, leather, textiles and lubricants and biodiesel. The majority of finished products are used in the feed industry in the form of high-energy fats and high-quality protein ingredients that supplement the diet and enable efficient production of beef, veal, pork, poultry, fish, eggs and milk.
